Last week, we were delighted to welcome a professional photographer to the setting to capture a very special milestone for our children. 📸🎓
As we approach the end of another wonderful academic year, our graduating children proudly dressed in their graduation caps and gowns and posed for their graduation photographs. It was a memorable experience and a lovely way to celebrate their achievements, growth, and readiness for the exciting journey ahead.
We are so proud of each and every one of our graduates and look forward to sharing more special moments before the children start Primary school. ❤️🎉

Over the past few weeks, the children have been busy creating some very special Father’s Day crafts using their handprints and fingerprints. They have loved getting creative and making unique keepsakes to show just how much they care.

Yesterday at Mini's Daycare Preston , we had a very special visit from the ice cream van! 🍦✨
The children were so excited and each took turns to tell the ice cream lady what they would like and hand over their money independently. They did a fantastic job using their manners, saying "please" and "thank you" throughout.

Afterwards, we all sat together in the garden to enjoy our tasty treats in the sunshine. It was a lovely experience that helped build confidence, communication skills, and independence while creating some wonderful memories! ☀️🍦😊

Recently at Mini's Daycare Preston, our younger children have been developing their early maths skills through messy and sensory play! 🌟

Using shaving foam, water, rice, and a variety of other sensory materials, the children have been exploring numbers in a fun and hands-on way. Throughout these activities, we have been introducing and encouraging mathematical language such as "more", "less", "big", "small", and many other key concepts.

Messy play provides wonderful opportunities for children to learn through exploration, helping them build confidence with early maths while engaging their senses and having lots of fun! 🧮✨

We've been making the most of the beautiful weather recently at Mini's Daycare Preston! ☀️💦
The children had lots of fun cooling down in the paddling pool and even added water to the tuff tray so they could enjoy some paddling and splashing in there too.
Alongside our outdoor fun, we also learned all about staying safe in the sun. The children discussed the importance of wearing sunglasses, applying sun cream, wearing sun hats, staying hydrated by drinking plenty of water, and taking regular breaks in the shade rather than staying in the sun for too long.
A wonderful way to enjoy the sunshine while learning how to stay safe! 🌞🕶️🧢💧

This week at Mini's Daycare Preston, we have been celebrating Eid-al-Fitr 🌙✨

The children have been learning about what Eid means and why it is celebrated. We explored a fun sensory tuff tray activity and enjoyed colouring in Eid-themed pictures too! It has been a lovely week of learning, creativity, and celebrating different cultures together 💛

At Mini's Daycare Preston this week we have all been getting very creative with paint 🎨✨
Our Preschoolers worked together to create a beautiful “Thankful Tree”, where we talked about the things we are most grateful for in our lives 💛🍂
Our toddlers and younger children explored colour mixing in the water tray and had lots of fun creating vehicle tracks with paint, linking perfectly with this month’s topic of vehicles and transport 🚗🚜🌈
We also created some lovely flower pictures as we begin planting our very own flowers around the nursery 🌸🌱
It has been a wonderful week full of creativity, teamwork, learning and messy play!

Recently at Mini's Daycare Preston we have been making the most of the lovely weather and spending lots of time outside in the garden ☀️🌿

The children have enjoyed riding the bikes and scooters, creating magical potions in the water tray, cooking delicious dinners in the mud kitchen, balancing carefully on the crates and tyres, and taking turns on the slide 😊

So many wonderful opportunities for outdoor play, teamwork, imagination and fun! 💚

This morning our preschool children enjoyed a lovely walk to the local Gujarat Hindu Society Temple. We were warmly welcomed and had a wonderful tour, where the children learnt all about the temple and its traditions. They enjoyed exploring different musical instruments and were kindly given fruit to enjoy too. A fantastic morning full of learning, culture, and new experiences! 🍎🎶🛕
