🍂🍁 Exploring Autumn in the Toddler Room! 🍁🍂

Today in our Toddler Room, we have been learning all about Autumn! 🍂

We’ve enjoyed collecting leaves and today we used them for some lovely leaf printing. 🎨🍁 The children explored different shapes and colours while getting creative and making their own autumn-inspired prints.

We’ve also been developing our language and vocabulary, using new words such as “crispy” and “crunchy” to describe the leaves we found. 🍂👣

What a lovely, hands-on way to explore the changes we see in nature during Autumn! 🍁🤎

🍂🎃 Exploring Autumn in Preschool! 🎃🍂

Today in Preschool, we have been learning all about the seasons of the year and focusing on the beautiful season of Autumn. 🍁

Using our senses, we explored some autumnal-themed shaving foam, discovering different colours, textures and smells as we investigated and played. 👃🏼👀🖐️

We also introduced lots of new vocabulary, including Autumn, leaves, conkers, acorns and pumpkins. 🍂🌰🎃

A fun, sensory way to learn about the changes we see around us during Autumn! 🤎🍁

🌈💛 Exploring Emotions💛🌈

This week in Preschool, we have been learning all about different emotions and talking about how we feel. 😊

The children enjoyed listening to the story The Colour Monster, exploring how different colours can represent different emotions. 🌈📚

We talked together about how we were feeling and encouraged the children to express their emotions. The children also had lots of fun making different facial expressions to represent how they were feeling! 😄😢😡😨

A lovely week of developing emotional awareness, communication and understanding. 💕

🎶💃 Following Instructions💃🎶

In Toddlers, we have been working hard on following simple instructions, using songs and rhymes to make learning fun! 🥰

Today, we listened carefully and followed the instructions for the Hokey Cokey — putting our hands, feet and bodies in and out as we followed along! 🎵🕺

We had lots of fun while developing our listening, attention and understanding skills.

Today in Toddlers, we have been learning all about Autumn! 🍂

We talked about the changes we see around us during this beautiful season and explored some lovely autumnal colours through paint. 🎨🖌️

The children enjoyed getting creative while learning about the colours and changes that Autumn brings. 🍁🤎

🦷✨ Learning About Oral Hygiene in Preschool! ✨🦷

Today in Preschool, we have been learning all about the importance of looking after our teeth and keeping our mouths healthy! 🪥😁

We set up a fun tooth-brushing activity, where the children worked in small groups and listened to a story all about brushing their teeth. 📖🦷

The children then used toothbrushes and toothpaste to have lots of fun cleaning the dirty teeth, learning how important it is to brush our teeth regularly. 🪥✨

A fun and engaging way to develop healthy habits and promote good oral hygiene! 💕😁

Today we had a very special visitor. Our lovely Logan gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Novie Anais on the 27th August. We were all so excited to meet her and have cuddles
