Treats for Rainbow Class, these children completed the class reading challenge of reading 15 times at home this half term.....superstars!

Thank you to their parents for supporting their learning, it really does help them in school ❤️

Your children should have brought their PE pumps home today to check they still fit, please make sure they do and return them to school on Monday 1st June. All children must have pumps in school at all times.

During half term please also check your child's jumpers and cardigans have their names in as again today we have had a number of items we have struggled to return to their owners as they weren't named.

After half term please send suncream in for your child to keep in school so they can be protected during the day during outdoor learning; ideally all children should have their own- sharing suncream isn't ideal when children are outdoors at different times. Suncream must be clearly labelled with your child's name.

Big shout out to Hollywood Bowl Preston for letting us go bowling yesterday!!

Children with 100% attendance are in with a chance of going bowling during school time as a reward, Hollywood bowl have given us these tickets for free and to help us increase attendance in school.

This term these legends got to go.... who's going to go next time? We can't promise it will happen everytime, but the winner of bowling even got to travel home in a soft top car!

Attendance is reset every half term for this reward... so everyone is in with a chance of going next time!!

There are a few events happening at Tanterton Christian Centre - A pre -loved clothes event and lots of different groups to attend!

The acts have been selected and now we need an audience.

Come join us TUESDAY 19th MAY 2026 at 6pm!

TICKETS WILL BE £TBC (buy them from Mr Bamber - there is a limited amount of seating in hall so first come first served)

Acts of all ages and all talents! With a special guest performance from Drama Club.

PTFA meeting update.... ⚠️⚠️

We had 3 new members tonight.. . hooray!! But 2 are school staff and one is Nursery staff... boo! WE NEED PARENTS!

Out of the 18 members we have, only 7 are actually parents of children in school... the rest are staff, which is great, but its hard getting staff out of class sometimes to help.

We had some great suggestions about future events, a sleepover at school, late night outdoor games on the grounds, like manhunt and hide and seek, christmas activity fun day.... and this HUGE inflatable assault course, the problem is.... if we don't have help we're struggling to run any of these events, meaning the little people have less fun in Primary School ☹️

I don't know what else to do to get people involved.... the PTFA is literally a group of people who want to put fun into school for their children. 🤷🏽‍♂️

If you've any question about who we are, what we do or when we meet, then just ask, Mr P, Mrs Bradley or Mrs Jones will answer any questions, but any member of staff will point you to the right person for information.
