Welcome to the PTFA page. This page is to keep us connected - sharing updates and events.

The PTFA work with the teachers and families to raise funds for the enrichment of the children's time at school. The money we raise helps pay for things like the Christmas Party & Panto day, Year 6 Leavers celebrations, library books and other fabulous resources for our children to use throughout their time at Woodplumpton St Annes!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who supported and attended our Summer Fair back in July! ☀️🎪💛

We’re delighted to announce that the Fair raised an amazing £811 surplus, with an additional £452 in Gift Aid!

That’s a fantastic result and simply wouldn’t have been possible without the brilliant support of our school and local community. Thank you to everyone who helped to make the day such a success.

As you can see, Gift Aid makes a HUGE difference to Woodplumpton PTFA’s funds. If you haven’t already completed a Gift Aid form – or perhaps it’s time to review yours – please consider filling one in. It costs you nothing extra, but helps us reach our fundraising targets much sooner, meaning we can invest the money back into the school for the children more quickly too. Paper forms are available in the school's foyer or, if an electronic copy is more convenient, please email us at [email protected].

Our current fundraiser is for new non-fiction books for the school library, and our target is £3,000. Thanks to the success of the Summer Fair, we’re now almost halfway there! 📚🎯👏

Finally, our AGM will be held later this month, with details to follow very soon. We would LOVE to see some new faces there! Whether you’d like to get involved, share some ideas, lend a hand from time to time or simply meet some other parents, please do come along. All welcome ☺️

Thank you, as always, for supporting Woodplumpton PTFA. Every contribution really does make a difference.

THANK YOU! ❤️🎉

As another fantastic school year comes to a close, we'd like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has supported Woodplumpton PTFA. 💙💛

Whether your child attended events, you bought raffle tickets, volunteered your time, or supported one of our fundraisers, every contribution has made a difference. 🙌

Thanks to your incredible support, we've been able to fund everything featured on our poster – and more! 📚💻🎭 Including new iPads, a furnished sensory room, a MUGA court part-funded with generous donations from local charities, school trips, reading books, Christmas celebrations, as well as repurposed laptops kindly donated by Zebra Technologies - and much more! Every penny raised has gone straight back into the school to benefit our children. ✨Your kindness has made a lasting difference. 💚

To our wonderful Year 6 pupils, we wish you every success as you begin your next adventure. 🌟 We know you'll do amazing things!

We hope everyone has a fantastic summer! ☀️🍦 Our PTFA AGM will be held in September, and we'd love to welcome new faces and hear your ideas for another great year. 🤝

Thank you once again for your continued support – we couldn't do it without you. ❤️

– Your PTFA 💙💛

⚽️🎙️ GOOOOOAL! 🎙️⚽️

Mrs Campbell was the lucky winner of the fantastic football training equipment prize, kindly donated by local business Flick, in the Summer Fair raffle... but instead of taking it home, she's passed it straight back to Woodplumpton Primary! ❤️🙌

That's what we call a world-class assist! 🅰️⚽️

With support like this, we're raising the next generation of footy stars right here at Woodplumpton. 🌟🥅

Three cheers for Mrs Campbell - Player of the Match, without a doubt! 🏆👏💛

⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️

On a more serious note, the Summer Fair is one of the most important events in the PTFA fundraising calendar, and we'd like to thank everyone who came along, volunteered, donated prizes, enjoyed the café and helped make it such a fantastic, well-supported event.

We're looking forward to sharing how much the Fair has contributed towards our school library non-fiction book fundraiser very soon.

Thank you for continuing to support the PTFA and the school - we can't wait to bring you another year of fun events while helping to fund even more resources and opportunities for the children.

Thank you to everyone that attended the Summer Fair today! 🌈🎉

It was brilliant to see so many of you having a lovely time in the sunshine ☀️ winning lots of prizes 🪎 and having a little sweet treat 🧁

We will share the total amount raised soon! 🪙

If you would still like to make a donation towards the restock of the school non-fiction library books please do so by visiting this link: https://pay.sumup.com/b2c/QAI5Y2GU

Most of our raffle prizes were claimed today but we do have 1 raffle prize still unclaimed. If you have yellow tickets 766 to 770 you have won the pink 🩷 hamper. Please bring the tickets to the school office to claim your prize.

Also we've had a bag left behind. Please do come to the school office and confirm the name inside the bag to collect this.

Thank you to everyone that came along and helped set up, run a stall, tidy up or just loaned an extra pair of hands today. We cannot do these events without volunteers and your contributions are vital in order to make these events a success ❤️

Finally, if you spoke to Lorraine Dean today about saving money on your bills at no cost to you (while also raising additional funds for school!) and you would like to follow up on this, please do drop Lorraine a message or contact her on the phone number in the poster below.

Thank you all 🎉🌈
