After an eventful year of living and working in the Maldives I’m delighted to announce that I have arrived back in Melbourne and will be returning to teaching music lessons in my old studio in Preston South!

Due to limited availability I will be offering sessions for Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays only, beginning in Term 3 (July 15th onwards). Piano lessons, music theory lessons and songwriting lessons are all available this term in 30 minute, 45 minute or 60 minute sessions.

Thank you so much for all of the amazing support over the last week. It is so deeply special watching this take shape and seeing all of the interest and love being thrown this way has been really incredible.

Due to the large number of enquiries and with Term 2 coming to an end this week, new bookings are now only being accepted for Term 3 (beginning July 12th).

Ruby Moxey-Fithall is a music teacher, performer and music creator from Naarm, Melbourne. She developed her love of music from an early age, starting piano lessons when she was five years old. Since then, she has studied both the AMEB classical and piano for leisure syllabus, before moving on to complete her Bachelor of Music Performance majoring in jazz and popular music. Upon graduation Ruby won Degree Student of the Year across all platforms.

Ruby loves sharing her passion for music with her students and is capable of teaching all ages, abilities and styles with over five years of teaching experience. This includes preparing students for AMEB examinations or developing jazz technique, to simply learning how to grow and understand ones own musical voice whether that be through improvisation, songwriting or developing a deeper knowledge of music theory.

Moxey-Fithall School of Music provides personalised music lessons from our private studio in Preston South.

We offer affordable piano lessons and music theory tutorials in a warm and nurturing environment. Lessons are available to everybody, ranging from those who have just begun their musical journey to advanced players wishing to expand on their musical vocabulary.

The joy of music is something so unique to each individual, and we wish to encourage confidence in all forms of expression in our lessons.
