Crafty Fox Arts

Crafty Fox Arts is a club for children aged 5-16 yrs to experience, experiment and express themselve Get in touch! Parents sign up on a 1/2 termly basis.

Crafty Fox Arts Club has been founded by me, Charlie Goode an artist and teacher of 15 years. I am based between Presteigne and Kington, on the borders of Powys and Herefordshire, where I run Saturday Art classes, Holiday Workshops, afterschool clubs and Birthday Parties. Saturday Art Classes
Saturday classes will be held during term time at ‘The Crafty Fox Art studio’. Set in the beautiful rural

setting of Knill there is plenty of room for children to experience and explore a variety of art and crafts from drawing and painting to printmaking and 3D sculpture. Each half term will be based around a theme and the children will complete each project with a finished piece of art work. The projects use a wide variety of media with emphasis placed on fun and experimentation. Each week they will collect and gather their ideas within their own sketchbook which they will make at the start of the project. The Saturday Art classes are run during term time only on Saturday mornings 10am -12pm and cost £15 per session, with a 20% discount for siblings. Holiday Workshops
Holiday Workshops for children to come and spend the day at the Crafty Fox Arts. Children come from 10am–3pm and take part in a variety of art projects interspersed with games sessions. My workshops are a great opportunity for your child to try new and exciting Art and Craft techniques and materials, from printmaking, batik and oil painting to puppet making. Children's Parties

What an exciting start to this years Summer Art Blast @ The Cartshed - Here is what we have been up to so far :-

Natural collages, Homemade blackberry paints, Natures paintbrushes, sketch books and Towering, Balance sculptures.

This half term we have been having fun exploring Lino cut printmaking. The group are beginning to really master the technique and produced some amazing prints today. Well done everyone!

Clay Castles Assembly Rooms.
The children worked very hard to create some amazing Paul Klee inspired castles. Using different mark making tools they created some brilliant patterns and textures and finished them off using clay paints! Fantastic work everyone:)
