GCSE results day is here — and I just want to say a huge congratulations to everyone getting their results today.

Whether you’re thrilled, relieved, disappointed, or feeling a bit numb… it’s all valid. You’ve worked hard, you’ve shown up, and you’ve got through a really intense chapter — and that deserves to be recognised.

And please remember this: your results do not define you. They’re information, not a label. They don’t measure your kindness, your creativity, your resilience, or the amazing things you’ll go on to do next.

Be proud of yourself for getting to this point. Take a breath. Celebrate your wins (big or small). And if today didn’t go how you hoped — this is not the end of your story. There are always options, and there is always a way forward.

Huge good luck to everyone getting their A Level results today.

Whether you’re opening that envelope feeling excited, nervous, or somewhere in between: I’m so proud of you for getting to this point. That takes commitment, resilience, and a lot of hard work.

And whatever the numbers say today, please remember this: **your results don’t define you.** They’re a snapshot of one moment, not a measure of your talent, your worth, or what you’re capable of next.

Celebrate what went well, be kind to yourself about what didn’t, and know there are *so many* paths forward. You’ve got this.

During COVID I invested in my new studio space and a fan that has a hepa filter.

Today I changed my filter (not for the first time) and I remember why I invested in it!

Gross - but makes the air quality so much better in my small but wonderful space.

While it doesn't cool the room in temperatures like these it is a wonderful powerful fan that we can use when singing power ballads!

There you go a small insight into my teaching life today!
