What a fantastic afternoon! Despite the scorching heat, I’ve never seen so many smiles and so much enthusiasm and enjoyment from everyone taking part.

A huge thank you to all parents, guardians, families, and friends who came to watch today. We hope you enjoyed the day as much as all the staff did.

Reception and the children from Beech Class had their last forest session today before the summer break. They enjoyed playing with water and ice - making nature potions, seeing which items float and which sink, and painting trees with water! They also had fun building dens, climbing trees and swinging in the hammock.

Beech Class and the Reception children from Ash Class learnt about the lifecycles of plants and animals in the forest today. They also enjoyed playing ‘Hibernation’ and ‘123, Where are you?’.

Most importantly, they used their imagination and initiative to create their own games, fun and entertainment in the forest 🌳 ❤️
