Once again we are excited to announce the launch of our annual charity Shoebox appeal supporting aid for the children of the Ukraine 🇺🇦.
Last year’s efforts were incredible, with our initiative being featured in the Macclesfield Express thanks to the overwhelming number of shoeboxes filled with love and the help of our amazing little volunteers.
This year we are aiming even higher! We are inviting all families, staff and friends of Mini V to join us in beating last year’s target of 100 boxes. Together, let’s help bring joy to children less fortunate in the Ukraine this Christmas.
Here’s how you can get involved….
1. Grab a shoebox-wrap in festive paper, ensuring the lid is wrapped separately for customs checks.
2. Fill it with love-include new or gently used toys, stationery, toiletries and confectionery’s ie sweets, chocolate.
3. Label it- place a label inside the box indicating which age group and category it best suits. ( see info below)
4. Contribute to transport costs- please attach £1 coin to help with shipping.
5. Drop it off- Return your filled shoebox to Mini V and we’ll ensure it reaches the fantastic team coordinating deliveries to Ukraine.
We kindly ask that all donations are in by the week commencing 16th November.
However,if you’re ready before then, feel free to drop them off with us earlier!
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Caroline,Hayley and Angela or any member of the team.
We have plenty of empty shoeboxes at pre school,do ask if you need one!
A huge thank you for your support. 😃
