We’re bringing the drums to Poynton Show and we’ve got a BIG day planned! 🔥

🎵 LIVE ON THE MAIN STAGE 🎵
We’ll have 6 of our fantastic students taking to the main stage to showcase their skills and perform some of their favourite songs they’ve been working hard on throughout the year! 🤘🥁

📍 Main Stage
🕜 1:30pm – First performance
🕞 3:30pm – Second performance

You’ll also find the Poynton Drum School stall at the show ALL DAY! Come and say hello, meet the team, find out more about our drum lessons and — most importantly — have a go on the drum kit! 🙌

Poynton Drum School will be at Poynton Show!

We have some of our amazing drummers performing live on the main stage. We will also have a stall offering some merchandise and a chance to find out more information about who we are and why you should choose us to teach you drums.

We’d love to see you in the audience supporting our drummers and pop over to our stall to say hi! 👋

Bookings are filling up for our exclusive 1:1 Summer Drum Lessons throughout August.

Looking for something fun, creative and exciting to do this summer?
Whether you've always wanted to learn the drums, want to master your favourite song, or you're already taking lessons and would like to sharpen your technique, our summer holiday sessions are the perfect opportunity!

✅ All ages welcome�✅ Complete beginners to advanced players�✅ Learn any style of drumming�✅ Play your favourite songs�✅ Improve technique, timing and confidence

There'll also be the opportunity to film your performance at the end of your lesson, giving you a video to take away and share with family and friends or keep as a record of your progress.

Lessons are tailored to you, making them a great way to develop your skills in a relaxed and enjoyable environment.

If you know someone who is performing at Poynton drum School summer concert, then please head to our website to purchase your ticket.

Please note that no physical tickets will be issued, your name will be reserved on the door. Performers are free and don’t require a ticket.

📸We will have a professional photographer at the concert and there will be an opportunity to purchase photos after the concert so watch this space.

Poynton Drum School Summer Concert 2026! 🥁

It’s time for our students to take the spotlight and show off the songs they’ve been working on in their lessons!

Our summer concert will take place at The Legion, Poynton starting at 6:30pm:

📅 Thursday 16th July – Scott & Alex’s private students
📅 Friday 17th July – Students having lessons at Middlewood House with Will & Grenville

Students can perform a song of their choice that they’ve been learning each week in their lessons. If they usually have lessons in pairs, they’ll perform together on stage; otherwise, they can perform individually. 🥁✨
Places are limited, so make sure to sign up soon and don’t miss the chance to be part of our summer showcase!

Last night, Scott’s band supported the legendary Ska / Reggae band - T***s and the Maytals!

Performing at one of Manchester’s most prestigious venues - New Century Hall which has hosted many icons over the decades such as Jimi Hendrix, The Who and The Kinks.
