Hi everyone, apologies for the radio silence .

Unfortunately, due to the extreme weather that we have had over the last 12 months we have taken the decision to allow the site to recover - especially in the area where Holiday Club is usually staged. There is also an urgent requirement for the Holiday Club equipment to receive some much needed TLC which we will not be able to get round to until the summer.

As such we have made the decision not to hold any Holiday Clubs in 2025, a decision which we have not made lightly. We do however intend to re-open the Holiday Clubs once the work has been completed.

Do you have a little one that might not yet be big enough for holiday club?
Well don’t worry, we’re predominantly a nursery looking after children aged 2-5!

This week we made our own dye from juicy juicy blackberries. We went on a search all around our forest school using our fantastic observational skills to find the biggest best blackberries for the job. We talked about the fruit and the plant and what animals we thought would eat the berries. We also spoke about responsible foraging and we reminded our children that we have a “no picky, no licky” policy and that they should never pick berries with out an adult. After we had collected enough berries we took it in turns to bash them up using a big stick. With a little assistance, the children wrapped elastic bands around a piece of calico and we submerged it in the mixture to make our own tie die material. The children were very pleased with the results

It’s £30 a day, 8:30 - 3:30pm

For those that have previously been, we have reduced our day by an hour so it doesn’t impact on the nursery hours.

Cannot believe we’ve almost had a full school year and it’s almost the school holidays once again!!
