Shodan-Ho Grading -
Sunday 27th September 2026.

Congratulations to our 5 students who graded to Shodan-Ho (Black Belt Tip) yesterday.

A slow start possibly down to nerves, but we got there in the end!
There’s plenty for them all to take away and continue working on, but importantly, all five achieved their Shodan-Ho grade.

Well done on your new grades, keep pushing and working hard!! 🥋👊🏻

A big thank you to the Senior Instructors who gave their time to sit on the grading panel, and to Junior Instructor Harrison Irving for assisting throughout 👏🏻👏🏻

🥋 EKNGB Traditional Karate Seminar – Sunday 23rd August

A fantastic few hours of traditional karate, led by Sensei Simon Crowther.
Everyone had great fun, enjoyed the training and came away having learned something very different from an ordinary syllabus class 👊🥋

Whether tackling a challenging but fun fitness routine, exploring the bunkai of Kata Unsu, or learning how to perform it on the tatami, every student had a great time and took something new away from the day! 🤗🥋

Great spirit and a brilliant effort from all involved. Well done to everyone who took part! 👏🏻 👏🏻

We finished the day by presenting each student with a certificate of participation — a great way to round off a thoroughly enjoyable and successful event! 🤩🔥
