Congratulations to Annabelle, Arianna, Aidan and Harrison on their selection for the EKNGB Young Lions Kata Team and the opportunity to represent England in Croatia this July.

The four Musuko Karate Academy students received their Young Lions badges on Sunday 7th June, recognising all the hard work and dedication that has gone into achieving this brilliant milestone.

Their selection reflects the fantastic standard they have reached with Sensei Simon and Sensei Nathan, who continue working hard with them in training and preparation ahead of the Croatia tournament.

One of our very own instructors Nathan Crowther, will be taking on a skydive this Sunday with some colleagues from his workplace to raise money for a children’s hospice.

Claire’s House Children’s Hospice provide incredible care, support, and comfort to children with life-limiting conditions and their families during some of the most challenging times imaginable.

A great morning at the Yanagi Kai Competition in Manchester 🥋
1 gold🥇 3 silver🥈 and 4 Bronze🥉 medals in individual kata events and a Bronze medal🥉in pairs kata from our fantastic squad team 🔥⭐️

With other squad members just narrowly missing out on medal spots, everyone performed very well. Some results didn’t go our way - with split ref decisions, but nevertheless we are very proud of you all and your dedication and hard work to your training is paying off 👏🏻👏🏻

Thanks to all the coaches for their help, brilliant as always, and to the parents and family members for their ongoing support. Another great day - we push on to the next ❤️🖤🤍

We took an almost full squad team to the North East Open Karate Championships in Sunderland on Sunday 29th March.

Fantastic performances again from all our squad members - not all decisions went our way but whether medalists or not, all our squad members should be extremely proud of the improvements they showed 👏🏻👏🏻🔥🥋
