Good news from the 16th December 2021 everyone with a car licence can now also tow a trailer without taking a separate test 👍but maybe a little bit of training or advice could be a good idea before going out towing for the first time 👍

Dvsa has delayed the new rules for towing heavier caravans and trailers without taking a test, the rules were due to change on the 15th of November and no further date has been announced yet for the relaxation of the rules but will keep you informed 😁

News from dvsa there will be no strike action from examiners as planned 👍also they have suspended plans to increase testing to 8 tests a day for at least the next 12 months, so getting a test isn't great but at least it's not getting worse 🤞

🚗You MUST NOT drive or park in a cycle lane marked by a solid white line during its times of operation. Do not drive or park in a cycle lane marked by a broken white line unless it is unavoidable. You MUST NOT park in any cycle lane whilst waiting restrictions apply.

🚲Overtake only when it is safe and legal to do so. Give motorcyclists, cyclists and horse riders at least as much room as you would when overtaking a car

👀It is often difficult to see motorcyclists and cyclists. Always look out for them before you emerge from a junction; they could be approaching faster than you think.

Driving test a success 🤔
When the first driving tests took place in 1935 there were 2.4 million cars on the road and there was 7,343 deaths on the road.
In 2016 there were 37.3 million cars on the road and 1,792 road deaths.
This is a reduction in over 75%of deaths, a very good step forward but if we can all drive safely we can stop more loved ones being lost👍

My aim is to get you to pass first time, but my biggest aim is for you to be safe and meet you in years to come and then I know I did my job well 😀
