Woodentops Preschool Woodentops Preschool is based at the Potton United Football Club. We cater for children aged 2 years Working as a team- (Collaboration) There is no I in team.

Our VISION is to provide an environment of awe and wonder so that the children enhance their curiosity and creativity, preparing them for their next stage of learning. Our Purpose: is to provide a homely environment where ‘learning is fun’, full of awe and wonder, so that children can develop and extend their curiosity and creativity. And to develop children’s independence and confidence ensuring

the fell loved, cared for and valued. Children will only thrive if they feel safe, secure and happy. Our Mission:
 To help children become confident learners excited about lifelong learning.
 To develop children’s curiosity, eagerness to investigate and discover the world around them.
 To provide a safe and welcoming atmosphere in which they can thrive.
 To provide a welcoming environment for the children’s parents and families/carers so they feel comfortable and able to ask for help and support.
 To have staff committed to continue with their learning so we cab deliver the highest possible care and education.
 To have happy, confident, well-motivated staff. Our Woodentops Values:

Keeping everyone safe- (Protection) It is so important that everyone attending Woodentops is kept safe, physically and emotionally. All staff are trained in safeguarding and it is updated regularly. We support and value each other’s ideas and contributions, developing a strong team spirit of openness. Getting better every day- (Reflection) We reflect and improve ourselves so that we can give the children the best Early Years Education. Happy colleagues=happy children- (Interaction) Colleagues come to work, leaving issues at home. Being happy reflects on the children’s well-being. Setting the Woodentops standard- (Inspiration) By being part of a professional team with an inspiring attitude, we are encouraging others to emulate what we do. Leading with integrity- (Progression) We lead and guide the children through their play. We learn from our mistakes and move forward. Speaking up- We are professional when we voice our opinions. Woodentops values colleagues expressing their ideas, concerns, and suggestions respectfully in a professional manner as this helps us improve Woodentops.
