2026-27 Committee Nomination and Election

We are looking for motivated individuals with a genuine interest in making pathology more accessible and engaging for students at RVC — if you care about building a stronger pathology community, we want you!!!

Self Nominations are open to all students on any RVC course — simply get our free membership from the SU website, then nominate yourself via the nomination form (below) starting today by end of June 3rd. Online voting will be open June 4–8, with results announced June 9th (you’ll see a quick email and social media posts with the voting form).

The incoming committee officially begins August 1st 2026, and after results are announced we will organise a handover meeting. Why get involved? Build teamworking experience, grow your pathology network, and strengthen your CV — all while shaping the future of PathSoc.

Hope you all had a fantastic Easter break! We've received some amazing submissions for our Undergraduate Research Day on May 1st, hosted by and 💛🔬. As a lucky treat, we've extended the submission deadline one last time - get your abstract and poster PDF in by April 20th! Huge thanks to those who've already submitted. Come support the presenting students, grab a snack, and ask them about their work. Can't wait to see you there!

Hi everyone! We’re super excited to announce a new series of review sessions aimed at those of you taking on the NAVLE this autumn 🇺🇸🇨🇦.

After the VEA, a few of you mentioned that some extra pathology-focused revision would be really helpful, so we’re giving it a go. The goal is to keep these sessions friendly and actually useful. Fully online for now, with the option to go hybrid later if this works well.

Our first session will be equine pathology, online on Teams, and supported by the one and only SEVA🐴💗 Expect some horsey NAVLE-style MCQs, resources for review, and plenty of chances to tell us what works and what doesn’t for future sessions.
Think “path review with friends” rather than “being grilled at 6pm”.

PS. When we put together the preliminary schedule, we checked the rotation timetable for the class of 2027 so sessions land, where possible, in those precious gaps between rotations. Because we respect your time, your sanity, and your sleep.
