Excellent evening at Concern Schools Debate. As chief adjudicator I stepped out of my comfort zone to deliver feedback to teams rather than individuals. Superb experience.

Congratulations to Dermot Carey who has just won Toastmaster of the year for District 71. It was announced this afternoon at the Belfast conference. Dermot is a really active and helpful member of the Dublin club and is past president of the club, past Area governor, past Division Governor and helped organise the last District conference in Dun Laoghaire. Not to mention he is a great speaker who has been very successful in speech contests. Not surprising then that he won this award!! Congratulations Dermot!!!
