Stay & Play with Parents 💛

It was wonderful to welcome so many families to our Stay & Play session and give parents the opportunity to experience our Toddler Programme alongside their little ones.

From exploring activities and making new friends to getting a feel for our warm, nurturing environment, it was the perfect introduction to life at Stepping Stones.

Our Toddler Programme for children aged 2–3 years offers flexible morning and afternoon sessions, with wraparound care options available to suit your family’s needs.

Applications are now open, and we’d love to welcome your family.

Just a few steps from our crèche, the sea was glittering in the sunshine, and we couldn’t resist stopping to take it all in. 🌊☀️

We love making the most of our beautiful surroundings with walks to the beach and the park, giving the children the chance to explore, play, and soak up those magical little moments.

Sometimes the simplest adventures create the biggest smiles. 💙

🌟 We're proud to share some exciting news!🌟

Stepping Stones has officially achieved the Autism NI Impact Award for Education🎉💙

This award recognises our commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive environment for autistic and neurodivergent children and their families.

Earlier this year, every member of our team completed specialist training delivered by Autism NI before working together to implement a bespoke action plan across our setting. From making meaningful adjustments to embedding more inclusive practices into everyday life, we are committed to ensuring every child feels safe, supported and able to thrive.

We are incredibly proud of this achievement, but even more proud that it reflects the values we live by every day. Inclusion isn't a one-time goal. It's something we will continue to learn about, develop and strengthen for every child and family who walks through our doors.

A huge thank you to Autism NI for their guidance and support throughout this journey. Together, we can continue building a more understanding and accessible future for all. 💙

We are aware of information currently circulating on social media regarding the building adjacent to our nursery.

We would like to clarify that information being shared is inaccurate. In particular, reports stating that children have been sent home early today are false. The nursery has continued to operate as normal.

The safety and wellbeing of the children in our care, our staff, and families remains our absolute priority.

Should there be any concerns affecting the safe operation of the nursery, families and staff will be informed directly through our official communication channels.

We kindly ask that families refer only to information shared directly by the nursery and avoid relying on unverified social media reports.

👩‍🍳 Do you know someone who would make a great addition to the Stepping Stones team?

We are currently looking for someone to join us as a Nursery Cook and we would love your help spreading the word!

We are looking for someone available for:
✨ Cover every Friday approximately 8am–1pm / 8.30am–1.30pm
✨ Additional hours may be available throughout the week
✨ Occasional sickness and holiday cover

The role requires:
✔️ Access NI checks
✔️ Social Services clearance
✔️ Someone reliable, confident in a kitchen environment and happy to work as part of our team
✔️ Minimum Level 2 Food Hygiene (training can be provided if needed)

All training will be provided in advance.
