πŸ§‘πŸ’œ The Loyal Orders Programme | Causeway Coast & Glens πŸ’œπŸ§‘
πŸ’¬ Why do people join the Loyal Orders?

The strongest themes were clear:
βœ”οΈ Celebrating history and culture
βœ”οΈ Faith and values
βœ”οΈ Feeling part of something
βœ”οΈ Community and social connection

Across adult and junior members, a huge number said being involved gives them a sense of belonging and pride in who they are. This isn’t just about organisations – it’s about identity, connection and shared experience.
These are the foundations we’re building the programme on.

The Loyal Orders Programme is a member-led programme designed to support understanding, confidence and positive engagement, while valuing culture, identity and lived experience.

This project is supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).

πŸ§‘πŸ’œ The Loyal Orders Programme | Causeway Coast & Glens πŸ’œπŸ§‘

πŸŽ‰ You spoke. We listened. πŸŽ‰

553 members from across the Loyal Orders in Causeway Coast and Glens took part in our online survey and the message was loud and clear: this programme matters πŸ’™

From Juniors to long-standing members, people shared why they joined, what keeps them involved, and what they want to see for the future. Family, faith, culture, friendship, belonging and community all came through strongly.

This survey is shaping the new Loyal Orders Programme, designed with members, not for them.

Over the next few posts, we’ll share some of the highlights πŸ‘€

πŸ“Š Thank you to everyone who took the time to take part. This is just the beginning.

✨ Loyal Orders Programme Launch ✨

We were delighted to officially launch the Loyal Orders Programme on Thursday 4 December in the Limavady Orange Heritage Centre. A sincere thank you to the representatives from each of the Loyal Orders who attended and to Limavady District for hosting us so warmly.

There was great discussion in the room about the programme and the Loyal Orders. Those present shared thoughtful insights and we provided initial feedback from the information gathered during our meetings at the twelve venues across the borough. Your engagement is shaping this programme from the ground up and we are grateful for it.

This project is supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).

Our next stage is now underway. The online survey is live and we want to hear from members across all Loyal Orders in the Causeway Coast and Glens. Your views will help shape the programme and ensure it reflects what matters to you.

πŸ—³οΈ Survey closes on 31st December
Please take a few minutes to have your say and share the link with others in your Lodge, Club or Chapter.

The survey can be accessed here: https://app.onlinesurveys.jisc.ac.uk/s/dalriadatraining/the-loyal-orders-programme-causeway-coast-and-glens
