This is something we really install within the setting from day one, it’s so important to be sat at the table or highchair while eating.

It’s National Picnic Week and what a perfect excuse to take your lunch outside.

In all the excitement, children may want to explore but it’s important to encourage them to sit down when eating to reduce the risk of choking.

Plus, don’t forget choking is silent, so be sure to watch them whilst they’re eating so you can react quickly if they get into trouble.
