🌻About me 🌻

My name is Gee Ives, I am 18 years old and currently studying Primary teaching with QTS. I have previous experience in tutoring as well as teaching experience in schools in ages 0-10.

I am a Primary school tutor, this means that I can help with any and all subjects involved within the Primary National Curriculum.

I currently live in Portsmouth just 20 minutes away from the beautiful seafront.

As a home primary school tutor, my aim is to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where every child feels confident, curious, and capable. I strive to understand each student’s unique strengths, challenges, and learning style so I can tailor lessons that not only build essential academic skills but also nurture a genuine love of learning.

My goals include:

* Building strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking so that students can confidently progress through their educational journey.

* Encouraging independence and resilience, helping children develop the study habits, problem-solving skills, and self-belief they need to tackle new challenges.

* Making learning enjoyable by incorporating creativity, hands-on activities, and real-world connections that spark interest and imagination.

* Supporting emotional wellbeing, promoting patience, perseverance, and a positive mindset so students feel safe to make mistakes and grow from them.

* Partnering with families to ensure a consistent, collaborative approach that helps each child reach their full potential.

Ultimately, my purpose as a tutor is to empower young learners to discover their abilities, build confidence, and develop a lasting enthusiasm for education.

Thank you 😊
