When a child is unwell, the last thing parents should have to worry about is finding time to eat or stepping away from their child’s bedside. That’s why our Sophie’s Saturday Night Suppers mean so much; a warm pizza, a little moment of comfort, and a reminder that someone is thinking of them. The team delivering the Chichester pizzas got a round of applause when they arrived!

We are currently looking for more businesses, groups and individuals who would like to sponsor a pizza night and help us continue providing this simple but incredibly meaningful support to families. If you, your workplace or someone you know would like to sponsor a night, we would love to hear from you.

💛 Tonight pizzas were delivered to QA Hospital Portsmouth. The main children’s ward were sponsored by RGM Electrical Services Ltd and the NICU ward was sponsored by Oliver’s Rainbow Nursery

💙 St Mary’s Hospital, Isle of Wight had pizzas delivered tonight to the children’s ward, SCBU and children’s A&E. These were sponsored by Tracey Holmes

❤️ Royal Marsden Sutton London had a pizza delivery tonight to the children’s cancer ward, these were sponsored by Sophie’s Legacy
We ensure parents have access to food over the weekend. Frozen meals from COOK were also delivered so parents have something to eat tomorrow.

🧡 St Richards Hospital Chichester had pizzas delivered last night to the children’s ward, Neonatal ward, children’s A&E and were sponsored by Sophies legacy

💜 Poole hospital main children’s ward had pizzas delivered last night which were sponsored by Maureen Stevens
NICU had pizzas delivered on Thursday evening when they have the families all come together. These were sponsored by Sophie’s Legacy

💚 Royal Surrey Hospital Guildford will have pizzas delivered on Sunday which have been sponsored by Nevie Collie. Thank you to Domino’s Guildford - Stoughton for giving us their special charity rate.

What a journey it’s been!
Our graduates have mastered new skills, built friendships, and blossomed into confident learners.

It has been an absolute joy watching each child grow, explore, and discover their unique spark. From their first wobbly steps into the nursery to their proud strides towards big school, they’ve filled our days with laughter, curiosity, and wonder.
We couldn’t be prouder of their accomplishments and the beautiful individuals they’re becoming.
The next chapter awaits, and we know they’re ready to embrace it with open hearts and bright minds. 🌟

This summer, families can dive into an exciting adventure with the Pompey Monsters with Stomp for Stamps, our FREE children’s treasure hunt.

It's easy to take part. Simply pick up a map book, crayons and paper from any Portsmouth library from 24 July. Walk, wheel or cycle the Pompey Monster routes and collect rubbings. Swap for stickers and exchange for a unique prize!

Plus, children will have a roarsome time tracking down colourful lions for the chance to win an exclusive Pride of Portsmouth lions trail toy🐾

Today we had the most relaxing and fun spa day, where the children took turns enjoying face masks, having their nails painted, and trying out our bubbly foot spas. One of the highlights was washing our teachers’ hair and helping them feel beautiful, the children were so proud of their efforts and worked together with such care and excitement.
This experience offered so much more than pampering. Children built confidence by trying something new, showed kindness while caring for others, and developed turn‑taking and cooperation. The rich vocabulary used related to self‑care, sensations, and routines, and engaged in meaningful conversations throughout the day. Our spa day also contributed to giving our children a chance to experience a new environment, explore self‑care routines, and understand how people relax and look after their wellbeing. These experiences help broaden their understanding of the world and build confidence in everyday life skills.
It was a wonderful day filled with laughter, curiosity, and calm moments, a perfect blend of fun and learning. We are so proud of how engaged, gentle, and enthusiastic the children were throughout the experience. 💆💅💆‍♀️

📢 Please share with families: Early Years Parent/Carers Hub

We'd like to highlight an upcoming Early Years Parent/Carers Hub session taking place on Thursday 9 July, 9.30am–11.00am at Havelock Community Centre.

This session will focus on creating 'Now & Next' boards for families to take home and use as a practical visual support tool.
The session is open to parents and carers of children attending an early years setting in Portsmouth who are looking for additional support. Representatives from the Neurodiversity Team will also be on hand to answer questions and provide advice.
