Please note that PCC has made the decision that all Crossing Patrol Officers will stand down every afternoon just for the remainder of this week - Tuesday 7th - Fri 10th July (they will be there in the morning as usual). This is for their safety and wellbeing due to the Amber warning of extreme heat.

☀️📚 **LIONS, AND ARTISTS, AND BOOKS—OH MY!** 🦁✨
We have some seriously exciting news to share! Yesterday, some of our wonderful children took a trip to **Cosham Library**, and they had the absolute best time!
The highlight of the day? They got to meet one of the incredibly talented artists behind the brilliant **Portsmouth 100 Lion Trail**! 🎨🦁 The children were absolutely blown away (and rightly so!) getting to hear all about how these magnificent lions come to life.
But that’s not all! The team at the library also shared some fantastic information about this year's **Summer Reading Challenge**. It is the perfect, fun way to keep those reading muscles flexing over the school holidays. 📖💪
A huge thank you to Cosham Library for hosting us and inspiring our young artists and readers. Keep an eye out for those lions around Portsmouth, and let's get ready to smash that reading challenge this summer! 🎉🥳
