🦁This week we will be taking part in our very own Portsmouth100 celebrations.
🌲Today we kicked it off with looking after the area we live and play in.
A few of us went on a litter picking trip down Hilary Ave. We were surprised to find sweet wrappers, bottles, paper, and lots of streamer paper caught up in the bushes.
🌍The children had great conversations about keeping the environment clean and tidy and making sure we look for a bin for our rubbish!

Today was such a hot day we decided we deserved a visit from the ice cream van! The children loved it as did the staff! 😍

☀️🌈 Summer Playscheme is nearly here! 🌈☀️

We can’t wait to welcome everyone for a summer full of fun, friends, games, crafts, cooking, challenges and plenty of exciting activities! 🎨⚽🧁

A little reminder that **some of our playscheme days are already fully booked**. If you haven’t secured your spaces yet, please check availability as soon as possible to avoid missing out! 😊

Before you arrive, here are a few reminders of what your child will need:

🧴 **Suncream** – please apply before arrival, we will reapply throughout the day.
🧢 **Sun hat** – essential for keeping cool in the sunshine.
💧 **Refillable water bottle** – please make sure it is clearly named.
📵 **No phones or watches with cameras** – these are not permitted at playscheme.
💊 **Medicines** – any medication must be handed directly to a staff member with the correct information completed.
🥪 **Lunch** – please remember we are a nut-free setting, and lunches should not include nuts, sweets or fizzy drinks.

🏷️ **Names on everything** – please label all clothing, bottles, bags and belongings to help prevent items going missing.

💦 We’ll be making the most of the sunshine with lots of water play, so a **change of clothes** could be really useful!
