Little Learners Day Care "Like Page"

from 3 months to 2 years, in this room we can have up 12 children with 4 staff members the ratio is 1:3

Hedgehogs: Children aged from 2 years to 3 years in this room we can have up to 18 children with 4/5 staff members the ratio is 1:4

Squirrel's: Children aged 3 years to 4 years in this room we can have up to 30 children withm4/5 staff members. The ratio is 1:8. Our breakfast and after school club for children who attend Penhale Infants School aged from 4 years to 9 years we can have up to 8 children with 2 staff members. We also have a large garden area where the children can explore with sand and water, dig in the mud, use their gross manipulative skills when riding bikes, scooters etc, climbing frame and slide. The children have many opportunities to explore and express themselves. Here at little learners we are very lucky as we are situated in St Marys Park, this gives the children lots of opportunities to explore outside. Little Learners follows the Early Years Foundation Stages (EYFS) national curriculum. Little Learners offer a range of childcare to suit your needs. what we offer:

Little Learners also has a breakfast and afterschool club exclusive to the pupils of Penhale Infants School. All our staff at Little Learners are fully qualified from an NVQ 3 in childcare and Education to NVQ 4 in childcare and management. All our staff are DBS (CRB Policed checked)

All our staff are first aid trained

All our staff are trained in Safe Guarding and child protection. All our staff go on regular training either within the setting or outside agencies.
