My Year 6 Maths Mastery group started back last week and we had such a lovely first session! 🙌☺️

I still have a few spaces available if your child is in Year 6 and could do with a little extra support this year.

The group is kept small so that I can really get to know each child and give them the support they need. We work on key areas of Year 6 maths through lots of engaging activities, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions, make mistakes and celebrate those little wins along the way.

There are also optional Google Classroom tasks for anyone who would like a bit of extra practice between our sessions.

Who says learning has to happen at a desk? 😊🌿

Our camping trip came with a tiny visitor and a pretty amazing science lesson! 🦗 We spotted this little bush-cricket and ended up discovering all sorts of cool facts — like how they hear through their front legs and that the curved bit at the end of their body is a special egg-laying tool called an ovipositor.

The best lessons are often the unexpected ones. A bit of curiosity, a little exploring, and suddenly nature becomes the classroom. 🌱✨
