All aboard the Titanic!
Year 2 enjoyed a memorable Titanic Day at school as part of their history learning. The children explored the story of the famous ship and what life was like on board. The day ended with a special party, complete with food and ballroom dancing, allowing the children to experience a small taste of Titanic life in a fun and engaging way.

It has been a wonderfully busy and festive week here at Devonshire!
The children were bursting with excitement as we welcomed not one, not two, but three very special visits from Santa himself! There were smiles, giggles, wide-eyed wonder, and plenty of Christmas cheer spreading through the school. 🎅✨
On top of that, each year group enjoyed their Christmas parties, packed with games, music, laughter, and lots of festive fun. The classrooms were full of happy faces and a real buzz as everyone celebrated together.
Another highlight of the week was our staff performance of “The 12 Days of Christmas” — which caused lots of giggles and festive cheer and was thoroughly enjoyed by the children!
A huge thank you to all the parents and carers who joined us at Santa’s Workshop. Your enthusiasm and support helped make the experience extra special for the children, and it was truly lovely to see so many of you sharing in the magic.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support. We hope you all enjoy the festive season and have a restful and happy time with your families.
