Are all CELTA trainers native English speakers?
CELTA trainers may be native or non-native speakers. All trainers meet the same rigorous standards set by Cambridge English Language Assessment and have been through a programme of training before becoming CELTA trainers.

Is there an exam?
No. You will be assessed on the 6 hours of Teaching Practice (including lesson planning), 4 assignments and your professional conduct.

I have really enjoyed the CELTA course. The trainers are so knowledgeable and experienced and I feel like I have learnt something valuable every day. The trainers were so kind and went out of their way to help us whenever we needed it. I have felt incredibly supported and I feel like, even though only 5 weeks have passed, I have become a much better teacher. I wish I could stay on the course for another 5 weeks!
