We are a BJJ school offering high quality Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu lessons to the entire Portsmouth area and beyond, Havant, Fareham, Gosport + Hampshire etc.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is one of the Fastest growing and most effective martial arts ever created, proven in MMA. classes are taught in a laid back, informal and friendly environment where the focus is on learning efficient and highly effective technique perfect for self defence in a positive and supportive atmosphere.

Classes are Taught by Adam Sparrow. An International and National level Gold, Silver and Bronze medallist with 11+ years experience in the art (7 of them teaching) and a passion for sharing it with others! Adam Trains with Tom Barlow (3rd Degree Black Belt from Braulio Estima) and Chelsea Leah (1st degree black belt from Andre Galvao) of whose Escapology BJJ team we are an affiliate club, with them visiting our club several times a year to give seminars.

Session’s are suitable for everyone no matter ability, age 13+, weight or fitness levels we specialise on giving beginners an enjoyable, positive and welcoming introduction to the art that will inspire them to continue to train for the rest of their lives!

We teach the entire Martial Art including Self Defence as well as takedowns, throws, ground work and Jiu-Jitsu competition.

We have a gold medal winning competition team with students winning gold in the first competition we entered and many, many more medals since so if you are looking to compete we can train and support you with this all the way to success as part of our team
