Over Summer term, our Year 9 students were working hard on their First Give Project, researching charities and planning social action campaigns to make a positive difference in their communities.
In the final week of term, each class presented their chosen charity and social action plans to a distinguished panel of judges, including the Deputy Lord Mayor and our Chair of Governors. The judges were hugely impressed by the passion, commitment and professionalism shown by all students.
Congratulations to Imani and Mia from 9.5, whose presentation was selected as the overall winner. They successfully championed The Elizabeth Foundation, demonstrating a clear understanding of the charityβs work and the impact it has on the lives of children with hearing loss and their families.
We are incredibly proud of all our Year 9 students for their enthusiasm, teamwork and dedication throughout the project. They should be commended for the thoughtful and inspiring social action ideas they developed to support causes they care about.
Well done, Year 9!
