So, I did my grading with this week, which puts me another step towards becoming a Technician of the Wing Chun system. I enjoyed the grading and I always look to grow futher!

After a long week of work and training, I like to go to Mountbatten Centre for some relaxation. It's a nice place to go, either by yourself or with friends/family to have a good time.

There are different shapes in our system that we can use to defend against attacks. To start off, we learn the 'matrix system' where we look at 9 shapes, mix them and learn how to apply then.

This was an awesome week of grading, my class has achieved Grade 2 this week and they did splendid with their grading.

It is a nice way to mark one's progress on their journey to mastering the system.

HMS Victory was a first-rate battle ship, with her role being the flagship of Lord Nelson at the Battle of Trafalgar back in 1805. Today, it can be found as a museum ship in Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.

Word of the week - "Patience". It is important to have, especially for long term goals as it allows for continual progression to take place!

Some might be wondering, why do we have forms in Wing Chun?

Well, it is important to understand that forms are not for demonstration, it is rather a part of our training. They contain important positions, applications and even theories linked to them!

When I am not training Wing Chun, one of the things I love doing is walking for a good amount if time. Even hours at times. This allows me to contemplate life and/or refresh myself mentally while keeping in touch with nature!
