In this week's e-safety guide, you'll find tips on a number of potential risks such as IP Theft, scams and financial loss.
The children have settled in brilliantly at Minstead and have already learnt some tricky life skills!

We are celebrating World Book Day this year by...
1. Asking students to dress up as their favourite book character for the day! All ยฃ1 donations will support the World Book Day fund.
2. Throwing a book-themed Bake Sale and competition! All you need to do is bake and decorate a book themed cake(s). For Seniors, please bring them in on Thursday 3rd March and submit in the Wilkie Library. For Primary, please bring in on Friday 4th March and submit in the Oldfield Library.
The cakes will be judged by Mr Jeapes and your librarians and the 1st place prize is a World Book Day T-Shirt, badge and ยฃ5 National Book Token.
3. Watching Author and Illustrator Academy of Sophie McKenzie about her World Book Day 2022 book.
4. Playing a book-themed 'Guess Who' game called Book Face, where your teachers have posed behind a book cover and you have to guess who it is!
5. Completing a Sponsored Readathon where students ask their family and friends to sponsor them and their reading goal for the week. In partnership with Usborne books, all funds will go towards new books for your library!

School Reminder:
A gentle reminder to all pupils to plan ahead for school. Senior pupils will always have equipment checked every morning upon arrival ensuring all appropriate equipment is in place for learning, this will consist of black pen, ruler, pencil, scientific calculator, purple pen, highlighter & reading book (Year 7 - Year 9).
If your child has Dance or PE, please make sure suitable kit is always packed before school to ensure they miss no practical subjects.
Preparation is key to a good education.
