I have spaces coming up Wed-Fri term-time only at 'Craneswater Childcare'. I am open between the hours of 7.00am and 6pm. OFSTED registered 'good' with 'outstanding' in the Prime areas. I provide comfortable home-from-home and education for Early Years children in the Craneswater area, close to Canoe Lake and Southsea seaside. We go on regular outings and use larger outdoor toys in my lovely garden. I am inspired by nature and children regularly visit my allotment and go on inspiring visits to find out about the wonders of the natural world.
I also have some availability for before and after school pick ups from Craneswater Junior, Southsea Infants and St Swithuns RC Primary school.
I offer funded spaces and can accept payments from a wide range of schemes, including tax-free childcare and the Childcare Grant for students. Please message me on 07840966468 if you would like to find out more. 😊

Our treat day out to get fully into the festive spirit. The children loved seeing the real reindeers and also the sweet singing ones. There were stunning displays showing twinkling lights, Santa, elves, snowmen, unicorns and more. Such a magical time. 🎅🏼❄️🦌

A lovely Christmasy day at the farm. Listening to stories in the cosy barn, crafts and time for play.
We have become members, so we can visit plenty of times throughout the seasons and observe changes at the farm.

I went to Wi******er, on a Saturday, recently and attended a very inspiring 'Expressive Arts and Design' workshop. The course was great fun and focused on art process and the importance of children's exploration and experimentation with materials, rather than a given outcome. We had a go at felt making, print making and creating objects from air drying clay. I am looking forward to sharing these activities with the children, so they get the sensory experience and satisfaction of creating their own art.
Recently, they have had plenty of opportunity to use paint, glue and glitter to create their own firework pictures, inspired by their own experience of watching fireworks displays. They have free painted at the easel, mixing colours for themselves and noticing the effects of their mark-making. They have also had a go at creating different brush strokes with watercolours.
All great fun and building on their art experience. 🙂
