Little Bugs Childminding Service

Great time at forest school. The fisherman at the lake let us all have a go at fishing and everyone caught a fish 🥹 There was so much joy and excitement from this activity. He showed us how to return them to the water safely. We looked for birds and bugs, did some nature crafts and had lots of outdoor play in the hammocks, on the swings and the cargo nets.

Some of our older and home educated children were able to take part in a series of workshops at the local art gallery. They created some lovely work inspired by the work currently in the exhibition at the gallery.

So lucky to get hands on with some really cute animals at the summer party last week! We talked about how different the animals felt and which brushes to use to give the ponies a brush ❤️

Another library trip but to a different library. We love this one because they have games and puzzles to share and borrow! Lots of books shared and some puzzles and books borrowed for the setting (We are really loving puzzles at the moment!)

And a little babycino and marshmallow treat at Costa since we only had older children in ❤️ ☕️ Children can learn so much from outings. For example here we were learning about the community and meeting people which supports our understanding of the world. Recognising the familiar cafe sign and looking at the menu supports our early literacy and the experience as a whole inspired our role play back at home!
