Today a box of resources arrived with books and toys for the children and with some weekend reading for me too! Really excited to have been offered the myHappyMind programme fully funded for the next year. myHappymind is an NHS-backed, digital curriculum that teaches preventative mental health habits (including self-regulation, resilience, and self-esteem). I’m really excited to start this with the children 🥰 Parents will be sent details of the programme and parent app when I have looked through myself and we have a start date for the programme

Alongside the life cycle of Bees, we have also been observing the life cycle of butterflies. Today our butterflies were ready to be released, some of us held them and we all watched them fly away to lay eggs to continue the cycle. We looked closely at the chrysalis’ they had hatched from

Arghh me hearties! 🏴‍☠️ Today we were pirates and made pirate flags, dug for treasure and sorted it, and explored our sense of smell by guessing the scents in the scent boxes. Some of them we liked and some of them not so much!
