Lovely day! Our newest little bug joined us for their first full day and they slotted right in 🥰 We enjoyed meeting some chickens, chicks and a duck at a workshop, followed by some sensory and small world play and making some artwork! We even squeezed in a trip to the park ❤️

We are enjoying learning more about planets and space. Today we read “On the Moon” by Anna Melbourne together. We discussed how we might feel going in a rocket to the moon and what we might see there! Then we made our own moon and practised cutting and gluing skills to stick astronauts and rockets. We explored the sensory bottles and some more space books! New language introduced such as “astronaut”, “Moon buggy” “asteroids” and “meteors”.
