Summer School Week 2!

Another amazing week full of fun, laughter and the building of friendships!
We can't wait for the pupils to officially join us from the 3rd September and hope this week has helped them to feel reassured about their new school.

Summer School Week 1!

We have a vacancy for a Cover Supervisor to start in September/October.

A cover supervisor is a non-teaching school staff member who manages classrooms during short-term teacher absences. Their primary duty is to ensure students remain on task and focused on pre-set, prepared activities, rather than delivering new lesson material or completing formal grading.

Pay Band 6 £28,239 - £32,061
(£22,340.58 - £25,374.26 Pro Rata)
33.45 hours per week, term time only
8.15am to 4pm (Monday to Friday)

Start Date: October 2026

Do you want to be part of our team; working with like-minded colleagues whose core belief is that all children are entitled to an excellent education and are at the heart of everything that we do? The successful candidate will be caring and enthusiastic and will have a genuine commitment to supporting the academic progress of pupils aged 11-16.
The candidate will be part of the Learning Support Department.

You will need to hold a relevant Level 2 or higher childcare qualification, have good communication skills and excellent literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE or equivalent, Grade C or above). Good ICT skills would also be desirable and at least two years’ experience working with children, preferably within an education setting. The role is term time only.

A suitably experienced and qualified person is required to fulfil the above role, which involves supervising classes of students undertaking work set on those occasions when teachers are absent from school. You will need to have the ability to work with students at all levels. The candidate must be educated to at least A level. The role is term time only. Applicants must be sympathetic to the school’s Christian ethos.
