Little Paddington's Childcare

We had a very exciting delivery this morning! A big thank you to Uncle Steve who has made us our very own made to measure garage! Now all our cars will fit through and little hands can get right inside! Katie just needs to paint it to jazz it up a bit 🤩 Our Little Paddingtons will have hours of fun with this garage in the coming weeks ❤️

We had a lovely morning at Music Makers today, and as usual our Little Paddingtons LOVED it and got stuck right in! Being animals at the zoo, mr glee at his button factory and sleeping bunnies! 🌈🐰💛🦁🐘🦜🦧

Our Little Paddingtons were loving the new sensory tiles Katie bought this week. We all enjoyed exploring ways to make the liquid move, by jumping on them, walking on our tip toes, banging them and squishing them with our tiny fingers…. We even recognised the colours we were standing on! 💚💜🧡💛

Our Little Paddingtons really enjoyed creating fun colourful firework pictures this week using cotton buds to help improve our fine motor skills and encouraging tripod grip on preparation for early writing skills. They loved watching the firework display on the Alexa screen too, the babies were mesmerised! 🎊✨💥

Lots of fine motor skill building this week. Learning our colours, numbers, shapes and even practicing our scissor skills giving the paper people haircuts! 💇🦋🐢🌼🧡

Our Little Paddingtons enjoyed listening to and interacting with lots of our new story sacks this morning!

We read-3 Billy goats gruff, the gingerbread man, little red riding hood, the tiger who came to tea, dear zoo and we’re going on a bear hunt! They were all so interested and engaged for ages! 🐅🌨️🐻🌉👵🏼🐐🦊🧺

It’s all about pasta this morning to help improve our Little Paddingtons fine motor skills! 🍝 💚 🥚🍽️

We also had Roly the Guinea pig to stay with us, which our little Paddingtons have loved, as well as me 😂 They’ve loved stroking him, holding him, brushing him, feeding him and letting him explore on the floor around their feet 🥰🤩🍅🥬🥕🐹

Had a fab time time at bowling last week for our big Little Paddingtons leaving day out. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and we even got some strikes and spares between us. They even had fun on the bus on the journey there and back! 🚎 🎳

We’ve had another little tortoise staying with us for a week, and our Little Paddingtons are absolutely loving it. Lots of mathmataical language about the big and small tortoise, lots of sensory exploration with the different textures of their shell and lots of talk about the healthy fruits and vegetables they like to eat 🥕 🥒 🥬 🐢 🌸 🪴 Freddie and Freda!
