Year 2's trip to Fort Nelson!
Year 2 have had a lovely day at Fort Nelson, meeting Gunner Scrub and Florence Nightingale. We learnt all about the conditions of the Crimea War and how important Florence Nightingale was. We got to be soldiers and nurses, explore the fort and go into the tunnels!

Year 2 visit Portsmouth Cathedral. Year 2 enjoyed their visit to Portsmouth Cathedral before half-term. The morning explored special food, our RE topic for Summer 1. The children explored the cathedral, decorated their own chalice and learnt about Holy Communion.
