I had probably the SWEETEST comment from a little girl last week……. ♥️

Child- Leah you smell nice!
Me- do I? What do I smell of?
Child- you always smell nice and it just makes me think of fun 🥹

As a childcare practitioner I don’t think there has ever been a cuter comment, and I don’t think anything can ever top that ♥️

It beats the comments about my wrinkles, grey hairs and how I look “tired” 😂

Week 3 of summer fun for our dream catchers at Playscheme! ♥️

This week we went exploring around the world! We visited uk, Italy, Mexico, Australia and finished at Hawaii for a beach party!

This week we have …..

- decorated biscuits then dunked them in a cuppa!
- had a silly sports day!!!
- made the most beautiful crowns!
- done a leaning tower challenge with marshmallows and spaghetti.
- made some stunning jewellery using pasta!
- made some pizza pockets
- made some maracas using paper Mache!
- made tacos
- made our own piñata! Then smashed out the treats!
- some Australian dot painting
- made our own boomerangs
- made our own Australian animals from salt dough!
- we had a sand castle competition!!
- we enjoyed numerous ice poles
- we made ice cream with cones and sprinkles
- we have gone through nearly 500 balloons which were great fun filled with water!
- had many water fights
- and smiled lots!!! ♥️

Well done kiddos for another superb week!

We will see you all next week for our final week of the summer 😞

Week 2 of Playscheme has been EPIC!!!

We have…….

- made our own superhero capes!
- all graduated from superhero training academy
- made a MASSIVE pirate ship!
- took part in a treasure hunt with over 200 coins to collect!
- learnt some tricks at circus school
- done a talent show!
- face painting galore!
- power paint fun run!
- tie-dyed T-shirts
- designed our own costumes and made them!
- produced our own mini movies 🎥
- loads of laughing
- loads of fun
- and yep you guessed it….. another LOAD of mess! 😂

But we wouldn’t have Playschemes any other way!! ❤️

The kids have well and truly stole my heart this year and they have been such brilliant company!

Our colour explosion day was certainly colourful and the tie-dye and powder paint fun run was a big hit!!!

Hopefully they will resume back to children within the next 2-48hrs 😅😅😅

What an amazing first couple of days of Playscheme we have had!! Kids have all been on top form! They have had sooooo much fun, been involved and invested in every activity/game/challenge and their behaviour has been incredible 🌟

The days are FLYING BY! And as the saying goes “times flys when your having fun!” It’s flying by so quickly we are barely fitting in all the activities we have planned each day! ♥️

Made our own squishes ✅
Designed the coolest animal masks ✅
Made binoculars ✅
Done a jungle scavenger hunt ✅
Played outside ✅
Laughed till our bellies hurt ✅
And made a whole load of MESS AND MEMORIES ✅
