We've updated our 'what's on' board! Don't forget to check out what's happening in school and nursery during summer term 2 - there's a lot! So much so I couldn't fit it all in one photo!

We don't post much on Facebook these days due to being able to share all the amazing things our children are doing directly with parents via tapestry, eyworks and our Bramble Bulletin but we're still here growing, caring and learning!
Have you always wanted to work in our nursery? We're looking for two full time level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioners to join our amazing team; one to start in August and one to start in September. Our lovely Jan in Blackberry will be retiring at the end of July and due to increasing numbers of children joining our Bramble family we will need an additional Nursery Practitioner in September.
If you can bring enthusiasm and energy, are reliable and ready to play, ambitious for the children in your care, motivated to develop your own practice, brimming with ideas, love working as a team member and willing to go that EXTRA mile, then we want to hear from you.
As a well-resourced and popular nursery with an excellent reputation we can offer a full range of CPD to keep your skills up to date and relevant, a very competitive salary, 27 days annual leave per year (plus bank holidays) and a generous local government pension scheme.

Hopefully all parents have seen our emergency closure update sent via arbor and eyworks late morning - we have established suitable fire evacuation contingency arrangements to enable school and nursery to reopen as normal tomorrow.
22/04/2025
Dear Parents,
Tomorrow, Wednesday 23rd April, we will be closed to all children and staff due to a fault with our fire alarm system.
We experienced a power surge at about 2.00am this morning which led to a power outage. Our fire alarm system has been working today through using it's battery back up. But this is due to run out imminently. There is now a fault caused by the power serge and the system will not detect a fire or signal for us to evacuate if required when the back up battery runs out.
The likelihood of a fire occurring is low but the potential for harm if a fire did start without us knowing could be catastrophic. Therefore, the decision to close has been made.
We will develop contingency plans tomorrow and communicate them to staff accordingly so that we are able to open on Thursday.
We understand how frustrating this is and apologise for the inconvenience this will cause however, as Iām sure you will agree, the safety of our children is always paramount.
Teachers will provide learning activities for children in the infant school via tapestry, which will be available tomorrow morning from 10:30am.
Yours faithfully,
Oli Bradley
Headteacher
