Well done for another week of exams! 🌟
Today's advice is from Mrs Walker. She says: 'Remember the exam paper is yours, if you are finding a question a bit tricky annotate the question and any diagrams. This not only gives you thinking time but also allows you to pull all your knowledge together. You have done all that amazing revision - now is the time to make it work for you!'

Today, students from Admiral Lord Nelson School, Trafalgar School, and Mayfield School embarked on a two-day visit to Caen, France, to take part in the poignant 82nd anniversary commemorations of D-Day.
During the ceremony, the students made a meaningful contribution by reading poems and performing in the D-Day choir, helping to create a powerful and reflective tribute.
We are incredibly proud of our students for representing their schools- and the Salterns Academy Trust - with such respect, pride, and maturity.

Hot Chocolate Friday is an opportunity for Headteacher, Mr Doherty, to invite learners who have gone above and beyond during the week to share a hot drink and a chat together 😊
What better way to end the working week than with your hands around a mug of marshmallow topped hot chocolate? 🎉
Well done Gulliver, Charlie, George and Amelia!

Well done for another day of exams Year 11! 🙂
Today's advice is from Mrs Green. She says: 'It is amazing the impact that revision the day before can have so make the most of every offer of revision from your teachers after school and resources provided by them for you to do at home. Make sure that you get to bed at a good time and have breakfast in the morning. Remember, you CAN do it!'

Today's exams: done ✅
The piece of staff advice of the day is from Miss Rott today. She says: 'Once you have completed an exam, no matter how it went, move on! There is no point in obsessing over how it went with hindsight, the mistakes you have made, what you could have said instead.... You prepare before your exam, you try your best on the day, and then move on to the next one.'

Yet another day of exams completed for Year 11. You are smashing it!
Today's advice is from Miss Pay. She says: 'Use the exam paper to your advantage - Brainstorm any relevant knowledge around each question before answering. Remember, nobody can expect anything more from you than you trying your best!'
