As another magical year at Nature Nursery comes to a close, our little explores have filled their pockets with wonder and their hearts with adventure. It’s been a pleasure watching them blossom through the seasons and become joyful, confident independent little people. Good luck to those flying the Nature Nursery nest, we are all so proud of you.

After 10 years of adventures, holidays, fire engine rides and even a trip to the dentist, our beloved Fergus Fox is ready to put his paws up and retire!

Fergus has visited over 200 families and made so many wonderful memories along the way. ❤️

Thank you, Fergus, for being the best mascot ever!

Keep your eyes peeled… a new furry friend will be joining the Nature Nursery family very soon, and we will need help naming them!

There is something truly magical that happens when childhood is allowed to unfold slowly. Amazing moments of wonder, connection and joy fill each day. Mixed age groups learn together growing in confidence, independence and kindness to see where their learning takes them. Flowing freely through out the day taking moments of calm, to notice the small glimmers of magic and not rushing the natural rhythm of childhood.

At Nature Nursery we may add the sparkle to the magic, but the children lead the way. Play matters.

Excited to share this, if you are looking for a space for your little one in September check out Mayville High School Southsea. They have adopted our play based, child led approach and it’s looking great! Go check it out and spread the word.

Exciting to see our approach to the early years is inspiring others. Check out the new stay and play at Mayville every Friday. It’s a great school and we are excited to be working along side them.

Help! After 10 years our trusty Toby Wagon we use for lunch boxes has had its day. We are desperately looking for another or similar to replace it, if anyone can help? The wonderful Toby wagons are no longer in production. Any recommendations greatly appreciated. Bonus points for secondhand!
