We had the most special time with our dads and fathers figures for Father's Day 💜

At our party, we celebrated our heroes with crafts, DIY, and lots of special moments. Thank you for making it such a lovely day!

☀️ Keeping your little ones cool this week!

With some very warm days ahead - and the possibility of a red weather warning on Wednesday and Thursday - we want you to know that your child's comfort and safety is our number one priority.

Here's what we're putting in place to keep things as cool and happy as possible:
💧 Extra water breaks throughout the day 🌊 More water play to help everyone cool down 🌳 Shaded outdoor spaces wherever possible 🧴 Suncream reapplied at lunchtime by our team.

A heads up: with all that lovely water play, please expect a slightly soggy child at pick-up! We'd recommend sending in a spare change of clothes each day.

We also ask that children arrive with suncream already applied and bring a hat each day — thank you for helping us keep them protected. 🧢

We completely understand if you'd prefer to keep your child at home on the hottest days. If you do, just let us know and we'll offer a credit session - no pressure at all. Your family's wellbeing always comes first.

Introducing Forest School! 🌿

We’re excited to be introducing a weekly Forest School session for our preschool children!

Each week will feature a new activity, giving children the opportunity to explore the outdoors, develop new skills, build confidence, and learn through hands-on experiences in nature.

🚶‍♀️🌊 This week we went on a little wander around HMS Excellent, taking in the beautiful scenery of the water and watching all the boats gently floating by ⛵💙

The children were fascinated by the busy surroundings too, spotting diggers and forklifts along the way and talking about what they might be used for 🚜👀

A lovely outing full of fresh air, curiosity, and lots of things to observe and explore! 🌿✨

🐞🪲 HMS Excellent asked us to help them fill their new bug hotel! 🌿

The children had a wonderful time exploring outdoors and searching for different bugs to become the bug hotel's first residents. Along the way, we learned about where bugs live, why they are important to our environment, and how to carefully observe the world around us.

A fantastic morning of outdoor learning, exploration, and exciting discoveries! 🐛🔍💚
