The children who have missed out on their sessions due to the closure will be offered another day, which we will sort out individually with each parent.

We would like to sincerely apologies again for any inconvenience/disruption this has caused.

Due to unforeseen circumstances with staff sickness the preschool will be closed tomorrow Monday 1st June.

Please look out for an email from the preschool and we will update all parents tomorrow with regard to Tuesday.

We are extremely sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Last week our topic was Literacy - we’ve enjoyed lots of stories, printing letters, writing letters in cornflour, drawing letters in the tuff trays and encouraged the children to write their own names or spot their names on the tables at snack times - here’s a few pictures of what we got up to ☺️

We’ve started the summer term last week with the topic of Understanding The World ‘Growing’ The children have had lots of fun with the activities to help support this topic, we’ve got the garden summer ready and potted lots of different plants and seeds and this week the children have been helping to water and watch them grow daily. Sow and Grow was a success! And want to thank the parents for coming in for the sessions ☺️🪴

This weeks topic is Expressive Art, we’ve been model making, drawing and using lots of colour… 🎨

A big thank you to everybody who donated and bought tickets for today’s Easter raffle - thanks to you we have raised £133.00! ☺️

We would also like to say a special thank you to Kians mum who kindly made cake pops for all the children and staff to enjoy, think everyone will agree that they look and tasted amazing! Thank you for taking the time to make these for us🐰🥕🌸

Our topics have been People Who Help Us and Building the children have had a variety or activities and resources to help support these topics through lots of play.

We celebrated World Book Day and it was great to see the children dressed as their favourite characters, sharing our favourite stories at circle time.

A reminder that this Friday 20th March is Red Nose Day 🛑 children are welcome to come in fancy dress with a £1 to be donated for the cause.

The Easter raffle is fast approaching with the draw taking place on Monday the 23rd March - there is still time to donate eggs and chocolate if you would like to ☺️ and just ask if these could be brought in by Friday the 20th. A big thank you to everybody who has donated to the raffle so far… 🐣 🐰

This week is number week - we’ve had a range of activities in each area of play to support this topic and we’ve enjoyed singing nursery rhymes and games including counting.

Using the children’s interests to develop their shared attention during one to one activities.

🐣 🐰🌸We are holding an Easter raffle, tickets will be sent out this week, if you would like to share out amongst family and friends. Easter donations such as Easter eggs and Easter chocolates towards the raffle would be greatly appreciated if you are able to. All money raised from the raffle will be used for the preschools resources 🐣🐰🌸
