⭐As we reach the end of another successful year, we want to say how incredibly proud we are of all our children. They have shown our values of Engagement, Communication, Independence, Building Relationships and Resilience every day and achieved so much along the way ⭐

The children finish at 1pm today, and we wish all our families a happy, safe and restful summer break.

We look forward to welcoming our Year 1 and Year 6 children back on the 3rd of September, along with our new Reception children who start on the 7th September.

Thank you for your continued support, and we'll see you in September! ☀️✨

🌟 moment
Rayan from Seal class has shown a lovely increase in his interactions with a wider range of children and is becoming more confident in engaging with his peers. It was especially wonderful to see Theodore and Rayan playing together on the wooden boat, sharing the space so positively and enjoying each other’s company.

Serena from Racoon class independently used a choice board to make a request for using the swing in the studio. Well done Serena 😄

☀️🌧️Hi Everyone, it was another fantastic day at Fairthorne yesterday, filled with activities and dodging the showers. After a good sleep, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast of waffles before heading off to make some dens in the woods. We had to have a snack to keep us going after that, and to get us ready for kayaking before a lunch of pasties. In the afternoon, we did the Cliffdale version of pond dipping, which involved getting in the water with the creatures! We also went climbing, which was great fun. That evening, after dinner, we had a good sing and dance around the campfire before another good night’s sleep.

We have a great breakfast of sausage baps to look forward to today, which will set us up for a morning on the bouncy pillow and completing some challenges on the field, before we headed back to school. 🌧️☀️

Day 1 at Fairthorne! 🎉

What an amazing first day at Fairthorne! Our journey there was smooth, and once we unloaded the bags from the buses, the children quickly settled into their rooms. Soon after, it was time for our first activity, the bouncy pillow! This was a big hit and is scheduled for a repeat later in the week. After lunch, the kids gave archery a try and showcased their incredible balancing and climbing abilities on the obstacle course. We enjoyed a snack break (of course!) before heading to the playpark before dinner. For dinner, we had chicken curry or a jacket potato, which the kids loved, though the ice cream for dessert was the real favorite! That evening, we spent more time at the park before enjoying hot chocolate and prepping for bed. The kids were quite tired, so all the adults were hoping for a peaceful night! We’ll update you on how that turned out! ☁️✨
