What an extraordinary week we’ve had celebrating stories and books! 📚

For our students at King’s Infant School Chamartín it’s been a delight to eagerly picking up books, reading with their friends, role-playing as their favourite characters, and exploring new worlds through the power of imagination. Watching them immerse themselves in stories has been nothing short of magical.

We want to celebrate the winners of our Extreme Reading Competition too, what a difficult it task it was for the School Council to decide!

It has been so funny looking at all the photos around the school and the different places people have found to read a book in and some don’t look very comfortable either.

Embarking on a mission to brighten young hearts! 🫂

Last year, we initiated a charity drive just weeks ago for the children under the care of Cardenal Belluga orphanage in Murcia. From 9-month-olds to 6-year-olds, the amazing response from parents and students overwhelmed us with hundreds of toys, ensuring each child experiences the magic of Christmas with gifts from Santa or The Three Wise Men.

Sor Efigenia and Noemi from the orphanage, along with our dedicated team members Jorge, Lidia, Victoria, and Adriana, visited our school to collect the treasures. Your support will undoubtedly create a profound impact on these children’s lives.

Our Students’ Success Beyond The Classroom 🏌️‍♀️

Luna has been chosen by the Spanish Federation to represent the country for the 2024 competitions; this is a great achievement for Luna. Also, she has been interviewed by the ‘Truth of Murcia’ newspaper that was published this week, in which she is mentioned thanking her for her participation throughout her school years.

Today, King’s Academy Ringmer, is delighted to be celebrating another year of improved .This year, students made impressive progress across the board, and the provisional overall pass rate is the school’s best ever!

The Principal Designate of KGA Binfield, Mrs Howells, is so excited to be finding out who her first cohort of students will be and can't wait to meet you all, with your parents, next Thursday 8th March from 7.00pm to 8.00pm at Newbold College of Higher Education, Binfield. This meeting will be a great opportunity to meet the fantastic staff who have been appointed and get an update on the exciting progress of the academy.
