Lunches this week.

Wow what a lovely 1st week back after having 3 weeks off due to the house move it was lovely seeing all my little people back we have had a week of playing inside to settle in. We are starting to peel and prepare our own fruit as well.

I'm now closed till the 13th of April as I'm moving

We had a lovely day playing out in the garden alday we had no table or paper learning but we did learn alot as we counted the airplanes ✈️ in the blue 💙 and white 🤍 sky we did mark making on the blackboard and played wuth the dinosaurs 🦕 in the sand and done some balancing which was tricky but fun.

The Chinese lunch and pudding we had last week.

Last week we was learning about The Chinese New Year
We found that they give gold coins in red envelopes as good luck.
They like colourful lanterns.
We posted money in to money tins, made a Chinese Lantern,had a Chinese picnic with the play food.
Then we had some Chinese food for our lunch which was very nice.

This week has been a playing week with lots of learning with the toys we have played with.

This week we are Celebrating National Storytelling Week and today's Story was The Gruffalo.
We had the play table set up with all the characters from the story and we got to play with them around the forest.
We decorated a biscuit so it looked like The Gruffalo and we had them for our snack.
We coloured in a Gruffalo picture with all the colours that is in the Gruffalo which are Brown,Orange, Green and Purple.
We then had lots of fun with the messy tray as we had to make Mouse favourite food which is Gruffalo Crumble.
We even had fun trying to make The Gruffalo out of playdough.
There was lots of learning with today's Story like learning about
*Different animals
*Different colours
*mixing, scooping, pinching and spreading

This week is National Storytelling Week and today was all about Goldilocks 👱‍♀️ and the 3 Bears 🐻 we listened to the story.

We then played in the messy tray which where we had to save the porridge and the 3 bears 🐻 from Goldilocks 👱‍♀️.
We also talked about the bears 🐻 and Goldilocks 👱‍♀️ as they were different colours and we counted the bears 🐻.
We also had to find the number 3 which was hidden in the porridge.
We then tried telling the story ourselves with the picture props.
