The Futurators has been running since June 2015 and the group, which comprises of individuals aged between fourteen to twenty-three, meet at Aspex weekly to curate, discuss and experience art. The Futurators is supported by Aspex and the Portsmouth Libraries & Archive services, as well as artists Abigail Gilchrist and Letty Clarke. It is led by and for young people, and is an opportunity for them to discuss what is important to the city’s culture.

Aspex are looking for 14–19 year olds with ambitious ideas to take part in their new Young Curators project, starting this October. The project will provide the opportunity to make your voice heard and gain knowledge about working in creative roles, where your ideas can become reality.

Have a fabulous festive season! A quick reminder of when we are open over the festive season. We are now closed until Saturday 27 December at 11am. We’ll also be open on Sunday 28, and especially for that week, we are opening on Monday 29 & Tuesday 30 too (11-4 each day).
