School Readiness Music Matters
Research shows children who maintain rhythm score around 20% higher in auditory short-term memory.
Short term memory is a key component of executive function. Music is built on patterns and sequences of rhythm, repetition of Boogie Mites School Ready Music activities involves memorising these patterns and sequences, the tempo changes and pauses. In the words of Dr Nina Kraus, Brain Volts Auditory Neuroscience Laboratory, “Music has a privileged portal to memory.”
Equip your team to harness the memory and executive function benefits of daily musical rhythmic activities with Boogie Mites School Ready Programme:

School Readiness Music Matters
Research shows that 30% of language development relies on rhythm skills.
The Boogie Mites School Ready Music Programme uses original songs underpinned by a strong steady beat, overlaid with rich rhythms. Accompanying activities such as clapping, shaking, tapping and drumming strengthen children’s rhythmic awareness, supporting language development, laying strong foundations for literacy.

Why do children love nonsense rhymes so much?
Because they're playful, surprising and full of rhythm.
As children chant silly words, repeat patterns and move to the beat, they're developing important foundations for language, listening and early literacy without even realising it.
In our Musical Poems webinar, you'll discover how rhythm and playful poetry can:
• strengthen listening and attention
• build vocabulary and confidence
• encourage speech and expressive language
• make literacy learning joyful.
Featuring a special pre-recorded interview with Michael Rosen, and two songs to use within your setting.
