New offer! Small group GCSE English tuition 🎉

Alongside my popular 1:1 tuition, I am now taking bookings for a new online, weekly Y11 AQA GCSE English Language tuition group.

This is a focused group, for these last few months before the exams.

By keeping the groups small, students will continue to benefit from my personalised support and feedback so valued in 1:1 sessions, as well as gaining from the collaborative nature of small group work, all at a more affordable cost.

Hello! I've not posted here for a while! I hope you're all enjoying the summer. From the autumn I'll be offering creative writing groups, exclusively for home educated teens. I'm really hoping to build a lovely community of young people who love to write, so please do share this with any home ed families that you think may be interested!

If you're not home educated and wishing this was after school, let me know, as I can look at launching an after school group later in the year if there's interest.

Don't worry, my 1:1 tuition isn't going anywhere. I have very limited availability left for the new year however, so do get in touch if you're hoping to secure a slot from September.

With this year's GCSE English Literature and English Language exams all completed, I now have spaces available for new students from September (or sooner, if required).

After school slots are limited - especially in person slots - so do get in touch for a chat if you are considering tuition for your child.

I also have some availability for daytime tuition - if this is something you are looking for, I would love to have a chat to see how I can support your child's needs.

Monday saw the final GCSE English exam for Summer 2023. An enormous well done to all my Year 11 students - you have all worked so hard! It has been a joy and a pleasure to see each one of you grow in confidence and absolutely flourish in your engagement with literature, language analysis and your own writing skills. I am honoured to have been able to support you all and to have been a part of your journeys!

On a personal/professional level, I have loved how tutoring has given me the opportunity to teach such a wide range of different GCSE texts, as well as being able to create truly individualised learning and support for each one of you. It's also been a joy to continue supporting young people in my local community, as well as from across the UK!

Tutoring continues for my younger students throughout the summer term, and I wish all Y11s a wonderful summer once the whole exam period is fully completed!
