🐄 🐖 🐐 It may have rained on our school leavers trip to the farm, but it didn’t stop us!!!! We enjoyed the minibus ride to the farm, looking at and learning lots about the different animals - Did you know that pigs cover themselves in mud because they use it to stop them burning in the sun?!
At lunchtime, we washed our hands - very important when touching animals - sat nicely in the cafe and spoke about our favourite animals whilst we ate.
After this, we burned some energy in the soft play area and ticked the animals that we’d seen off of our checklist and did some colouring!
After this, we went to see the fish and explore the farm a bit more before the minibuses came to collect us again!
We love our annual school leavers trip to the farm, although it does make us a little sad as the trip means it’s almost time to say goodbye before our biggest children take their next step of their journey into big school! 🎨

We would like to say a huge welcome to Lily, who has joined our Denmead team and will completing her level 3 apprenticeship.
Lily has already settled so well in just her first week - the children already love her and Lily has made a lovely bond with them already! Lily is a natural and uses her initiative, it’s like she has been with us forever! 🎨

🎨 some of our Little Creators have been to visit Mini Town - Role Play & Café today! The children had so much fun getting the bus to Waterlooville and then the exploring the role play areas! Thank you so much for having us! We can’t wait to visit again! 🎨

We’re excited to share that we have our OFSTED inspection at our *DENMEAD* setting on Monday 27th April.
We’re really looking forward to it and feel well prepared. We’re incredibly proud of our setting, our strong staff team, and the wonderful experiences we provide for the children every day.
