Blossoms Childminding

Wow what a month we have had ! Not the one I planned or never had in mind. In July I broke my ankle and unfortunately it was a severe break and needed surgery and to wear a cast for 6 weeks. I'm now in a boot and can slowly start walking again. I obviously couldn't childmind during this time and thank all my wonderful family's for being so supportive and understanding about this.

During this time my lovely old boss contacted me out of the blue offering me a job of being manager of her very lovely child care setting. It really wasn't an easy decision to make but I really do believe that things
Happen for a reason. I adored being a childminder but I also miss being part of a team and after having my accident and this amazing opportunity coming alone I felt it was time to take on a new challenge.

This week we visited the new sensory room at the portsmouth school of gymnastics. The children absolutely loved it , we had lots of fun using the interactive mat , our favorite game was to pop all the different coloured ballons on the floor.

The last few weeks we have been enjoying the sunshine, celebrating fathers day and The queen's jubilee.
We have had adventures to the beach and joined in with a beach clean, had lots of fun in the garden with our new paddling pool that the children picked and of course lots of messy play!

We had a lovely easter holidays but we are going to miss my little helpers now they are back to school.

Busy week we had lots of fun playing with playdough , making dinosaur foot prints and collecting leaves.

Halloween fun day! Pumpkin picking, farm trip, messy play and painting :)
