I learnt this early in my teaching career; when I started teaching the kinetic energy formula.

⚛ Acknowledge - the traditional method didn't work for my class.

⚛ Adjust - the belief that there was only one way to learn this.

⚛ Adapt- find a new way to tackle the concept.

When we help students to jump up 2 grades in 12 weeks, a lot of our effort goes into this, as this is where the MOST marks are lost.

MISCONCEPTION!

It is a common belief that plants will only photosynthesise - in truth, they also respire. This is how they:

🌿Gain energy.

🌿 Grow.

🌿 Perform vital functions.
